On 19th April 2024, students from SPACES Degree College embarked on an enriching industrial visit to collaborated industry “Hetero Pharmaceuticals”. This visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and operations.
Guided by knowledgeable professionals, the students embarked on a comprehensive tour of the manufacturing facility. They observed various stages of the pharmaceutical production process including formulation, quality control, packaging and distribution. The tour provided students with a firsthand understanding of the meticulous processes involved in ensuring product quality and safety.
Students actively participated asking insightful queries and gaining valuable insights from the experts.

SPACES Degree College NCC girls attended the Annual Training Camp conducted at JNV School, Peddapuram from 3rd May to 12th May 2024.
As part of camp, various competitions in Cultural, Sports and Drill were conducted. Our SPACES NCC girls showcased their talents and bagged huge success in the camp. Kudos to the SPACES Degree College NCC Girls for their monumental achievement! Securing a total of 56 medals and clinching the Winners’ Cup in the Drill Competition is an extraordinary feat. SPACES Degree College stands out as the sole institution to receive the highest number of prizes and prestigious awards like "Best Camp Senior," "Best NCC Cadet," and the coveted "First Prize in the Drill Competition".

On 18.04.2024, twenty students from SPACES Degree College enthusiastically participated in voluntary service at Ramalayam in Payakaraopeta, on the occasion of Anna Samaradhana. This event, marking the celebration of Anna Samaradhana, provided an opportunity for the students to engage in community service and contribute to the cultural traditions of the temple. The primary objective of the voluntary service was to support the temple in organizing the Anna Samaradhana event effectively. Additionally, the students aimed to foster a sense of community engagement and cultural awareness among themselves and the devotees. The students engaged in various activities throughout the event, assisting in food preparation, Serving food, Cleanup and maintenance. Their active participation and contributions were instrumental in the success of the event, leaving a lasting impact on the temple community and beyond. Temple authorities thanked our students and Management for their reluntless service.

On 13th April 2024, SPACES DEGREE COLLEGE witnessed a celebration of Ambedkar Jayanthi, by the National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers. This occasion, commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, was marked by a series of events aimed at honouring his legacy of social justice and intellectual pursuit. The day commenced with solemn tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. NSS volunteers, along with faculty, staff and students gathered to reflect on his life, teachings and contributions to the Nation. Through speeches, students paid homage to Dr. Ambedkar's tireless efforts in advocating for equality, justice and the rights of marginalized communities. Prizes were awarded to the Winners of the Men's Cricket League, conducted on this context on 06.04.2024 for the outstanding performance and sportsmanship displayed by the players, motivating them to strive for excellence both on and off the field. In addition, the celebrations also featured elocution and debate competitions. Students participated enthusiastically, expressing their opinions on pressing social issues and engaging in thought-provoking debates. Prizes were distributed to the winners, acknowledging their eloquence, critical thinking, and ability to articulate complex ideas. As the day concluded, participants departed with a renewed sense of purpose, inspired to carry forward Dr. Ambedkar's ideals and contribute towards building a better future for all.

SPACES Degree College, known for its commitment to civic engagement, recently hosted a voter registration drive organized by its Electoral Literacy Club. The initiative aimed to empower students by facilitating their registration as new voters, thereby fostering active participation in the democratic process.
The voter registration drive took place in SPACES Degree College from 08.04.2024 to 12.04.2024. The faculty members of the college actively took the responsibility.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students. Recognizing the significance of their role in shaping the future of governance, students eagerly embraced the opportunity to register as new voters. 
By facilitating the registration process within the college premises, the Electoral Litearcy Club aimed to eliminate barriers and streamline access to voter registration services. The event exemplified the institution's commitment in nurturing informed and engaged citizens.

The SPACES Degree College Men's Cricket League was conducted on 06.04.2024 with great enthusiasm and fervor, showcasing the exceptional cricketing talent among college students. The league was held with 8 teams creating an atmosphere of healthy competition and camaraderie. Each team comprised passionate cricketers eager to exhibit their skills on the field. The diverse backgrounds and playing styles of the teams added to the excitement of the tournament.
The SPACES Degree College Men's Cricket League not only provided a platform for young cricketers to showcase their talent but also fostered a sense of sportsmanship and unity among participants.
In conclusion, the SPACES Degree College Men's Cricket League was a resounding success, celebrating the spirit of cricket and the passion of the players involved.

An on-campus placement drive was conducted by MSN Laboratories at SPACES Degree College on 03.04.2024 for B.Sc. & M.Sc. Chemistry male candidates of 2023 & 2024 batches. Mr. Ganesh Patnaik, HR & Mr. Mani Shankar, HR conducted the drive. The drive was held for positions in Production and Quality Control. 
Written test and technical interviews were conducted to the applicants as part of recruitment process. A total of 40 students participated in the drive. 
17 Students were selected for the positions in Production and Quality Control.

An on-campus placement drive was conducted by SANVIRA at SPACES Degree College on 20th March 2024 exclusively for B.Sc. Chemistry & B.Com.  Male candidates of 2023 & 2024 batches. Mr. Murali Jagannadham, Head R&D & Mr. Naidu, HR conducted the drive. The drive was held for position of Production Chemists. 
Written test and technical interviews were conducted to the applicants as part of recruitment process. A total of 60 students participated in the drive. 
After the rigorous process, 13 students were selected.

Stem cell donation and Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) typing play crucial roles in the treatment of various diseases, including leukemia, lymphoma and other blood disorders. However, there is often a lack of awareness about the importance of stem cell donation and the need for HLA typing among the general population. In response to this issue, on 16.03.2024, an awareness campaign by DATRI Foundation was organized to educate and encourage students of SPACES Degree College to become stem cell donors and undergo HLA typing.

A one-week training program was held in SPACES Degree College by Naandi foundation collaborated with the Mahindra Pride Classroom. The training program constituted soft skills training, Tally and Python. A team of three trainers, Sri Sai Ganesh Kumar – Soft Skills trainer, Smt. Rajya Lakshmi- Soft Skills trainer and Geetha Allavarapu - Software Professional trained SPACES Degree College students. The trainers have trained the students on Employability skills - Communication skills, Body language, Grooming, Goal setting, Time Management, e-mail etiquette and Resume building. The final day went with interview skills edged with Mock interviews. The purpose of conducting the training program was to impart knowledge, bridge the gap between industry and academia, skill development to thrive in their careers. On completion of the course students were presented the skill development certificate.

SPACES Degree College conducted sports for the girl students on 06.03.2024, the eve of Women’s Day 2024. Conducting games and sports for girls on Women's Day promotes physical health, fosters teamwork, builds confidence and challenges gender stereotypes. It emphasizes the importance of women's participation in sports and empowers girls to pursue their athletic passions without limitations. Throwball and Tennikoit were conducted to the girl students. SPACES Degree College girl students took part in the games with great sportive spirit and enthusiasm. Physical Director Mr. K. Krishnam Raju conducted the events.

A Rangoli competition was conducted for the girl students of SPACES Degree College on 06.03.2024, the eve of women’s day 2024. Rangoli making is a form of traditional art and organizing a competition enabled the girls to showcase their creativity and talent, celebrating their artistic skills. The competition proved in preserving and promoting this cultural art form among the younger generation. It was a meaningful way to mark Women's Day, promoting creativity, empowerment, cultural heritage and community spirit. Students participated in the competition with great enthusiasm. They presented their art and creativity through various themes. Prizes were distributed for the Winner & Runner for Rangoli competition in Women's Day Celebrations.
