Our journey

A Journey Since 1993

SPACES began with a rural higher-education mission and has developed its academic facilities, programmes and student opportunities over more than three decades.

SPACES Degree College was established in 1993 by Sri Prakash Educational Society with the purpose of extending higher education to rural learners. From that foundation, the college developed a campus and academic environment designed to support both disciplinary learning and career orientation.

Over the years, traditional degree disciplines have been strengthened alongside fields such as Computer Science, Electronics and Biotechnology. Seminars, interactive learning and progression guidance have helped students pursue employment, postgraduate study and research opportunities.

Four enduring strengths

  • Learned faculty who provide subject guidance and individual attention.
  • Library resources supporting study and inquiry.
  • Laboratories for practical and scientific learning.
  • A learning environment that encourages confidence, responsibility and growth.

Purpose and direction
