Effective date: 26 August 2026
SPACES Degree College (Autonomous), Payakaraopeta (“the College”, “we”, “our” or “us”) respects the privacy of students, parents, alumni, employees, applicants and other visitors who use this website. This policy explains the information handled through the website and the safeguards applied to it.
1. Scope
This policy applies to information processed through spacescollege.ac.in, the College’s content-management facilities, online feedback and survey forms, and related institutional website services. It does not control an external website merely because this website links to it.
2. Information we may handle
- Information voluntarily entered in admission enquiries, feedback forms, surveys or other institutional forms.
- Ratings and responses submitted through stakeholder-feedback and Student Satisfaction Survey forms.
- Administrator account details, publishing actions and security audit records used to operate the CMS.
- Technical information ordinarily recorded by the hosting server, such as request time, requested page, browser information and network address, for reliability and security.
- Essential session information and a limited browser-storage preference used to remember whether an announcement has been dismissed.
The public Student Satisfaction Survey is designed not to request a respondent’s name, roll number or email address. Public survey reports present aggregate ratings and exclude individual responses and qualitative suggestions.
3. Why information is used
Information is used only for legitimate institutional purposes, including providing requested services, administering academic and quality-assurance processes, analysing aggregate stakeholder feedback, maintaining website security, preventing misuse, complying with applicable requirements and improving institutional services.
4. Publication and sharing
Individual survey responses are not published as public records. Aggregate reports may be published where they do not identify an individual. Information may be available to authorised College personnel and service providers who require it to operate or secure the relevant service. It may also be disclosed where required by law, a competent authority or a lawful institutional obligation.
Some pages link to services operated by third parties, including external gallery and document services. Those services apply their own privacy terms when a visitor follows the external link.
5. Retention and security
Records are retained only for the period reasonably required for the institutional purpose, applicable academic or regulatory record-keeping, dispute resolution, security or legal compliance. The College applies role-based access, protected storage, password controls, audit logging, secure transport and other reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and requests
Subject to applicable law and the nature of the institutional record, a person may request information about personal data provided through the website, ask for correction of inaccurate information, seek erasure where retention is no longer required, or raise a grievance about its handling. The College may need to verify the requester’s identity before acting on a request.
7. Children and students below eighteen
Where consent from a parent or lawful guardian is required for a student below eighteen years of age, the relevant institutional process should be completed by or with that parent or guardian. The website should not be used to submit unnecessary sensitive information.
8. Cookies and browser storage
The website currently uses only essential session functionality and limited browser storage needed for security, administration and interface preferences. It does not presently use advertising pixels or behavioural-marketing cookies. If non-essential analytics or marketing technologies are introduced, this policy and the applicable consent controls will be updated before their activation.
9. Policy updates
This policy may be revised when the website, institutional processes or applicable requirements change. The effective date displayed above will be updated when a material revision is published.
