Industrial Visit to BHEL & Decathlon- 06.09.2025

The students of SPACES Degree College, pursuing B.Com & BBA undertook an educational industrial visit to Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Visakhapatnam, and Decathlon, a prominent sports retail store. The visit aimed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world industry practices. At BHEL, students explored key areas such as production and operations management, gaining valuable exposure to the functioning of a large-scale manufacturing unit. The interaction with professionals provided clarity on industry expectations and potential career opportunities. At Decathlon, students observed practical applications of retail and marketing concepts, including store layout planning, customer relationship management, and branding strategies. This experience allowed them to connect theoretical learning with real-time retail operations, deepening their understanding of modern business practices.
