Guest lecture on “Front End Development & Best Practices”

The Department of Computer Science, SPACES Degree College (Autonomous), Payakaraopeta, organized an informative session on “Front End Development & Best Practices” on 7th January 2026. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about front-end development tools and industry best practices. The session covered important topics such as modern front-end frameworks, performance optimization techniques, and web accessibility.

The resource person for the seminar was Sri Allu Lavaraju (2010–13 Batch), an alumnus of the college and currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Keysight Technologies, Bengaluru. He was warmly welcomed by the faculty and students. The institution felt proud to host its alumnus, who has achieved professional excellence and continues to contribute to the academic growth of students.

During the session, Sri Allu Lavaraju explained the use of popular front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue.js for building scalable and maintainable web applications. He also discussed various performance optimization techniques and emphasized the importance of accessibility in modern web development to ensure inclusive user experiences.

The lecture was highly interactive and included real-life case studies that helped students understand practical challenges faced in the industry. Students actively participated by raising questions related to career opportunities, front end frameworks, accessibility, deployment etc.

Overall, the programme was highly beneficial and inspiring for the students. The session concluded with a vote of thanks to the resource person and the college management for their continuous support and encouragement.
