MoUs with Patanjali Ayurved University and Patanjali Research Foundation

In a historic move to bridge traditional Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) with rigorous contemporary scientific validation, SPACES Degree College (Autonomous) has executed a comprehensive bilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Patanjali Ayurved University and the prestigious Patanjali Research Foundation, Haridwar. This strategic academic and scientific alliance marks a significant escalation in the college’s Research & Development blueprint. It directly establishes a high-level translational framework connecting the institution's robust campus-based botanical conservation and biochemical extraction programs with Patanjali's world-class clinical research networks and industrial processing lines. Under this shared initiative, advanced student cohorts and research faculty from the Departments of Botany, Chemistry, and Biochemistry will interface directly with Patanjali’s core laboratories. The partnership will focus on secondary metabolite screening, phytochemical standardizations, and the optimization of natural healthcare formulations. Furthermore, the alliance introduces collaborative student internship exchanges, shared faculty development configurations, and joint funding pipelines for high-impact ethnobotanical projects.
