PANYAM JEMIMA HEMALATHA, Student of SPACES Degree College has been selected for the National Republic Day Parade that was held on 26th January 2019 in New Delhi.
P JEMIMA HEMALATHA, who is studying B.Sc. in SPACES Degree college has been selected from ANDHRA UNIVERSITY NSS wing. She qualified for RD Parade after receiving training at the pre-republic parade camp held in Nagpur, Maharashtra from 25.11.2018 to 04.12.2018.
It is a great recognition that SPACES Degree college has been represented at NATIONAL LEVEL in Republic Day Parade, which was held from 01.01.2019 to 31.01.2019.
During the camp, JEMIMA HEMALATHA, has shared her experiences with ‘NEWS TODAY.’ 16 Students from the states of ANDHRA PRADESH and TELANGANA participated in the parade organized from Rashtrapathi Bhawan in Delhi to India Gate at 9.55 am, on Republic Day from Hyderabad NSS Regional centre. Two students represented ANDHRA UNIVERSITY NSS unit. She liked the early morning drill in the cold weather. She said that, experts taught them how to practice for concentration, personality development, physical and mental strength.
Cultural programs were conducted daily in the evening, where students performed dances and events, which reflect the culture and traditions of different regions. She said that she got the opportunity after actively participating in NSS Programs for two years. Sri CH.V.K. Narasimha Rao Garu, Secretary & Correspondent, Sri Prakash Educational Society and Sri Ch. Vijay Prakash, Joint Secretary, SPES, applauded PANYAM JEMIMA HEMALATHA, for her achievement.
