On the occasion of 135th birth anniversary of Sir Srinivasa Ramanujan, a well known Mathematician, different activities were conducted in SPACES DEGREE COLLEGE, Payakaraopeta on 21st & 22nd, December 2022.  The students, enthusiastically participated in the activities and Quiz on Mathematics. The students prepared articles on various topics related to Maths such as symbols used in math, invisible math, how to learn Maths and displayed as a part of Creative Club activity. The students gave their best to present the projects given to them.  On day 1 (21-12-2022), Quiz screening was conducted. The students enthusiastically participated in the activities and  Quiz on Mathematics. Guest of honour, for the day,  11 year old Chy. Chirra Anagha Lakshmi, Child Prodigy & specialist in Ganitha Avadhanam addressed the students and gave tips on quicker maths. She explained the logics in maths and inspired the students. All students and the Heads of the Institutions took part in the celebration. The Guest presentation enhanced the power of

thinking in Maths. These activities are helpful to improve accuracy, logical thinking, critical thinking and also to build team spirit among the students. On day 2 (22-12-2022), Quiz final  was conducted, winners were given away prizes & merit certificates in the student gathering. Certificates were given to participants of Quiz final.

  All the students felt it was really an enlightening Mathematics Day!
