The purpose of the Creative Club is to make the college environment more vibrant and engaging. The club focuses on churning out diverse ideas from students, which enhances individual thinking, decision-making, imagination, collaboration, and teamwork.
Creativity here isn't just reserved for artists—it involves aesthetic design, time management, and problem-solving. Participating in backstage arts and event aesthetics provides a therapeutic and empowering outlet for students to showcase their talents, opening their minds and fostering a real sense of community across the campus.
Begun in 2003, the Creative Club and House System randomly assigns students into 8 distinct houses. These houses compete in various events, building team spirit and leadership qualities. The houses are proudly named after eminent Indian personalities:
The Display Board is the highlight of the Creative Club. Eight boards are assigned to the 8 houses, rotating displays for 3 consecutive days each week. Students come up with highly creative and thematic presentations, particularly on special commemoration days, adding glory to the college corridors.
Judges evaluate all 8 boards, rewarding score points to the houses. At the end of the cycle, a closing ceremony is organized to award the best-performing House with a rolling shield presented by the Joint Secretary. The winning house also earns the proud opportunity to hoist their house flag!
