The purpose of Creative Club is to make College environment more creative and interesting. The club focuses on churning out different ideas from students which in turn helps in enhancing their individual thinking and perspective. Selecting the best idea and implementing that, helps in improving learning, decision making, imagination, collaboration and teamwork among students. Creative Club helps students to enhance their creative skills. The creativity club is not just about being Creative it also involves management skills. Creativity is something reserved for just the artists. Creative Club is also responsible for the Aesthetics of the events carried out throughout the year.
Our creative clubs will open your mind, encourage you to try new things and develop your passions. They also help to further support your academic studies.
The club provides an outlet for our pupils to showcase their talents and express their ideas, which can be both therapeutic and empowering. Additionally, participating in Backstage Arts helps develop a range of skills including teamwork, communication, time management and problem-solving.
The process of putting together a performance requires coordination and collaboration between pupils, teaching staff and technicians, which fosters a real sense of community and helps strengthen social bonds within the campus.
CREATIVE CLUB serves to be a great platform to bring out the hidden talents, develop team spirit, leadership qualities, enhance communication and soft skills of the students of the SPACES Degree College. The house system & creative club began in SPACES Degree college in 2003.
Students of the college are randomly set into 8 houses. The houses are named with famous personalities as Asha Bhosle, Kailash Satyarthi, Sudha Murthy, Arundhati Bhattacharya, M S Swaminathan, Anna Hazare, Leander Paes & Bachendri Pal.
Various competitions are conducted to the students. Literary events like Essay Writing, Elocution, Debate, Panel Discussions & JAM are conducted to the students to improve communication and presentation skills. Cultural events like Singing & Dance are conducted to encourage the talent in students. Sports and Games, Theatre Arts like Mime, Skit & One Act Play and Fine Arts competitions like Spot Painting, Cartooning & Rangoli are conducted. Each house conducts an internal selection (named Intrahouse Competition) and sends participants to compete with other houses (named Interhouse Competition).
Along with these competitions THE DISPLAY BOARD is the highlight to the Creative club. Eight Display boards are assigned to 8 houses of the college. The display is done for 3 consecutive days of the week.
Special days and Commemoration days have special displays. Students of the clubs come up with interesting and creative themes. Specials Display days add glory to the corridor of the college.
Judges are invited to judge all the 8 boards. Score Points are rewarded to houses for every activity conducted. Healthy competition exists among the 8 houses.
Once the cycle ends, a closing ceremony is organized to award the best performed House with a rolling shield by the hands of Joint Secretary of the Institution, which is indeed a matter of pride to the students. The winner house gets an opportunity to hoist their house flag.
The activities of the creative club energize the students and help them in their all-round development. Certainly, the college provides the students learning with Entertainment and Joy.

Creative club has truly been an amazing platform to bring out and nourish their hidden talents, who are now excelling very well in their careers with the footsteps they have made in their college days. The alumni of SPACES Degree college clearly showcases the result of creative club as an outcome-based education which fosters their creativity and talent.
It gives us the immense pleasure to call them our alumni.
Dr. T Siva Prasad, now working as an Assistant Professor, Department of Dramatics, University of Rajasthan (Alumni of National School of Drama, New Delhi) was an active participant in SPACES creative club, where his interest in Theatre & Dramatics grew.
N Pratyusha - Senior News Presenter in TV9, T A Krupa - News Presenter in ETV, P Kranthi - News Presenter in ABN Andhra Jyothi TV, Rehana Shameem in V6 News Channel, B. Vani -Photo Journalist in ETV were all those students in SPACES Creative club who developed interest into Media and Reporting.
