NATIONAL DEWORMING DAY – HEALTH AWARENESS AND ALBENDAZOLE TABLET DISTRIBUTION PROGRAMME - 29 September 2026

SPACES Degree College (Autonomous), Payakaraopeta, Anakapalli District, organised a National Deworming Day – Health Awareness and Albendazole Tablet Distribution Programme on 29 September 2026 with the support and cooperation of the Payakaraopeta Primary Health Centre (PHC).

As part of the programme, Albendazole tablets were distributed to 180 NSS volunteers to promote awareness about intestinal worm infections and the importance of regular deworming in maintaining good health and well-being.

The programme was conducted with the guidance and support of the Payakaraopeta PHC. The healthcare personnel extended their valuable cooperation in facilitating the distribution of the tablets and creating awareness among the students regarding deworming, personal hygiene, and preventive health practices.

The NSS volunteers actively participated in the programme and received the tablets along with essential information on the importance of regular deworming and maintaining proper personal hygiene.

The programme concluded successfully with sincere appreciation to the Payakaraopeta Primary Health Centre for its valuable cooperation and support in promoting health awareness and the well-being of the students.
