In a proud moment for agricultural innovation, the Ministry of Agriculture (Govt. of India) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) jointly conferred a prestigious "Certificate of Recognition" upon Sri Ch. Awarded on February 13, 2014, during the landmark "KRISHI VASANT" national celebrations in Nagpur, this tribute recognizes pioneering excellence and outstanding leadership in the field of Animal Husbandry, setting new benchmarks for agribusiness and sustainable livestock management.

Sanvira Biosciences successfully conducted an Internship-cum-Placement Drive at SPACES Degree College for students from a Chemistry background, providing internship opportunities followed by potential placement.

Sanvira Biosciences, an Indian biotech Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) based in Visakhapatnam, is known for its expertise in advanced microbial and fermentation technologies catering to the pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and industrial ingredients sectors. The company offers end-to-end services from product development to large-scale manufacturing and emphasizes sustainable practices, including the use of solar power. Sanvira Biosciences is a part of the reputed Sanvira Group, which also has a strong presence in quicklime and other industrial products.

A total of 40 students appeared for the written test conducted as part of the selection process. Based on their performance, 26 students were shortlisted for the interview round.

The roles offered are in the Production and Quality Control (QC) departments. The drive proved to be highly beneficial, offering students valuable industry exposure and strengthening the collaboration between academia and industry.

SPACES Degree College had a privilege of hosting Prof. Subbarao from the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Delhi. conducted a session on November 15, 2025.  The session titled “Art of Learning at College”, guided undergraduate students on adopting effective learning strategies and cultivating a broader, liberal mindset essential for personal and academic growth.

Prof. Subbarao emphasized education extends beyond one's field, encouraging diverse perspectives inspired by Lord Buddha's teachings. He introduced the monkey (self-driven) and cat (guided) learning styles, stressing a balanced approach. 

Essential skills like curiosity, clarity of concepts, analysis, and imagination were pinpointed as vital for success. He reiterated education must inspire service to society, reinforcing values like empathy and responsibility. 

The session motivated students to develop innovative thinking and a problem-solving mindset, contributing to their growth.
