Guest Lecture on Problem-Solving, Interview Skills, and Career Development by Prof. K. Rajasekhara Rao

SPACES Degree College (A) hosted an inspiring and intellectually enriching guest lecture on “Problem-Solving, Interview Skills, and Career Development” delivered by Prof. K. Rajasekhara Rao, Pro Vice-Chancellor of KL Deemed-to-be University, Guntur. The session conducted on 8th December 2025, offered students deep insights into the competencies required for excelling in the competitive professional world.

Prof. Rajasekhara Rao began by explaining effective strategies for answering interview questions with clarity, precision and confidence. He demonstrated how structured thinking and thoughtful articulation can significantly enhance a candidate’s performance in interviews. Emphasizing the power of discipline, he reminded students that “consistency is the key”—a principle that underpins success in academics, technical learning and personal development.

He highlighted the importance of cultivating the right attitude, stressing that positivity, humility, and a strong work ethic are essential qualities that shape one’s career trajectory. Addressing the demands of the global job market, he encouraged students to elevate their coding skills to international standards, adopt best practices and strive for excellence through continuous learning.

A significant segment of his talk focused on resume building. Prof. Rao advised students to view their resume not as a one-time document but as a living profile that evolves with their growth. He encouraged them to develop it in phases—regularly enhancing it by acquiring new skills, completing certifications, showcasing achievements and building meaningful personality traits. “A resume reflects who you are becoming, not just what you have done,” he noted.

Prof. Rao also reminded students that their hard work and success serve a greater purpose—bringing pride to their parents and honoring the support they have received. He urged them to work with sincerity, determination, and long-term vision.

The session was highly interactive, intellectually stimulating and profoundly motivating. Students expressed that the lecture broadened their understanding of career preparedness and inspired them to strive for excellence with renewed commitment.
