SPANDANA CASTES A SPELL ON SRI PRAKASH YOUTH
Sri prakash VidyaSoudham at Payakaraopeta was the centre of galvanizing activity for the last three days in a Youth Festival Format. SPACES Degree College, Sri Venkateswara College of Education, Sri Ventateswara College of Primary Education, Sri Prakash College of Physical Education and Sri Prakash College Of Engineering vied with one another in the vibrant Intercollegiate cultural and Sports competitions from 8th to 10th Feb.
The closing ceremony had Professor P. Hari Prakash, Dean, College Development Council, Andhra University as Chief Guest Prof N. Vijaya Mohan, HOD, Physical Education Department, A.U and Professor P. Sai Vijay, Leadership
Foundation, Tekkali as Guests of Honor. The Proceedings started with the presentation of a comprehensive report by the Convenor of Spandana, Dr. K. Veeraju, Principal-in-charge of SPACES Degree College. A Panel Discussion on the “youth of India Confused or Confident”, was conducted with the students as the panelists. The student panelists were unanimously agreed on the change for the better mindset of youth who should move from confusion to confidences, missing to any challenging occasion.
In his address to the students, Prof Hari Prakash enlightened on positive contribution appreciated the students’ efforts for their active participation and sportive spirit, to emerging out of competence. Youth is the best demography dividend
which should be well guarded to exploit India’s recourses and opportunities with active intellectual contribution.
Professor Vijay Mohan encouraged to youngsters to excel in sports which can make a wonderful career even for academic failures. Professor P.Vijay Sai wlobarated on skills working wonders for enthusiasts in any field of interest. Mult tasking and creative pursuits can make a big difference for any one, willing to diversify their career.
The hounourable guest gave away prizes to winners of various creative competitions later in the presentation ceremony. The adjudicators of various events were given book mementoes. Sri Ch. Vijay Prakash, Joint Secretary, Sri Prakash Educational Sociey, honourd esteemed gustes.
Later in the Dance Group Finals that followed enthusiastic performers presented various message filled themes, well choreographed.
The 16th edition of SPANDANA left an indelible message on the closing ceremony, that is, life is full action. Let us compare the best things, learn from failures as well, as failure is a learning part of memorable success.
