DISTRICT ROTARACT GOVERNOR VISIT (08-12-2023)
On 8th December 2023, SPACES Degree College had the honor of hosting the esteemed District Rotaract Governor, Rtn. Ravuri Subbarao, for a special visit.
Rtn. Ch Vijay Prakash, Joint Secretary of Sri Prakash Educational Institutions accompanied the Chief Guest. Parent Club - Rotary Tuni, Rotarians – Rotary Clubs of Young Leaders & Sabala were part of the event. The visit aimed to strengthen the ties between the SPACES Rotaract Clubs and the larger Rotaract Community, while also inspiring students to engage in service and leadership.
The primary purpose of the visit was to provide guidance, motivation and support to Rotaract Club members of SPACES Degree College. As part of the Rotaract movement, the District Governor Rtn. Ravuri Subbarao aimed to encourage students to take active roles in community service projects, leadership development.
Governor conducted an interactive session with Rotaract Club members, engaging them in discussions about the importance of service, leadership and teamwork. Students utilized this opportunity to ask questions and seek advice on various Rotaract initiatives and projects.
District Governor Rtn. Ravuri Subbarao acknowledged and appreciated the “Project Red 2.0” organized by the clubs of SPACES Degree College in collaboration with parent club. The Governor also reviewed the ongoing and past projects, providing valuable feedback and suggestions for improvement. This evaluation helped students to gain insights into effective project management and implementation strategies.
Rtn. Ch Vijay Prakash appreciated the students and enhanced their confidence in participating in service activities. He also promised to do the needful whenever necessary. He, specially, acknowledged Rotarians selfless contribution to the Society.
The session was truly fruitful. SPACES Degree College looks forward in continuing its collaboration with the larger Rotaract Community and implementing the valuable insights gained from the visit into future projects and initiatives.
