On 9th December 2023, SPACES Degree College celebrated the eve of International Human Rights Day with great enthusiasm and fervor. The day aimed to raise awareness about human rights issues globally and promote the importance of respecting and protecting these rights.
The main highlight of the event was an art/drawing competition organized for the students. The theme of the competition revolved around human rights, encouraging participants to express their thoughts and ideas creatively through art. Students enthusiastically participated in the competition, showcasing their talent and creativity.

Faculty members evaluated the artworks based on creativity, originality, relevance to the theme, and artistic expression. The artworks were displayed in an exhibition organized within the college premises. The exhibition provided an opportunity to everyone to know the creativity of the students. Around 30 students took part in the programme.
Prizes were given away to the winners.  The speaker delivered a keynote address highlighting the significance of International Human Rights Day and the importance of upholding human rights. The International Human Rights Day celebration at SPACES Degree College was a resounding success, thanks to the active participation and engagement of students, NSS volunteers, NSS Program Officers Sri P Bhaskara Rao & Sri G.T.Naidu and faculty.
