Stress Management plays a vital role in life.
Department of Commerce and Management conducted a Guest Lecture for its students on “Stress management” on 16th September, 2024. The speaker of the day was Challa Lovaraju, Msc(Psychology), M.Ed., P.G.D.G.C., P.G.D.C.A., NET (Edu.), SET (Psy & Edu), elucidated the important steps on “Stress management”. He extensively covered the fundamental concepts in general psychology and explained Sigmund Freud’s theory of personality structure comprising the Id, Ego, and Superego, psychopathology, shedding light on abnormal behaviour patterns, biological clock. Mr. Challa extensively covered stress management. Using real-time examples, he illustrated the impact of stress on individuals, making concepts relatable. He suggested one book called developmental psychology given by Sigmund Freud. He also highlighted the consequences of unmanaged stress, including eating disorders and cardiovascular diseases, and stressed the importance of developing healthy coping mechanisms to mitigate stress, providing valuable insights into human behaviour and stress management.
The guest lecture was so informative and conversative. All the students got benefited from the lecture.
