SPACES Degree College (Autonomous), in association with Foundarly Private Limited, organised a “LinkedIn & Resume Building Workshop” on 24 August 2026. The workshop was conducted as part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between SPACES Degree College and Foundarly Private Limited, aimed at providing students with industry-oriented learning opportunities and enhancing their employability, professional branding, and career-readiness skills. The programme was organised for all final-year students and was conducted in two batches to facilitate effective participation and interaction.
The sessions were led by Mr. Ravi Teja Chikkala, Founder, Foundarly Private Limited; Ms. Hema Chandu Medipudi, Co-Founder, Foundarly Private Limited; and Mr.Durga Chikkala, Backend Developer, Product: IBM Cloud (Backup and Recovery). The resource persons provided valuable insights into creating a strong professional identity and maintaining an effective LinkedIn presence. They explained how students can create and optimise their LinkedIn profiles, showcase their skills and achievements, and use LinkedIn for professional networking and career opportunities. Mr. Durga Chikkala, through his professional experience as a Backend Developer working on IBM Cloud – Backup and Recovery, shared valuable industry-oriented insights and helped students understand industry expectations and the importance of developing relevant technical and professional skills.
A major focus of the workshop was resume building. The resource persons explained the essential components of an effective resume, appropriate formats, ways to highlight skills and achievements, and common mistakes to avoid. The sessions were made highly engaging through interactive activities, practical exercises, discussions, and demonstrations, enabling students to apply the concepts in real time. Students actively participated in the activities and interacted with the resource persons, gaining practical knowledge that can support their internship, placement, and career pursuits.
The workshop concluded on a positive note, with students gaining a better understanding of personal branding, LinkedIn profile development, professional resume preparation, and industry expectations. Conducting the programme in two batches ensured effective participation and interaction among all final-year students. The workshop was a significant initiative under the MoU between SPACES Degree College and Foundarly Private Limited, providing students with practical exposure and industry insights. It served as a valuable platform for bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, empowering students to present themselves confidently in the professional world
