Bridging frontline agricultural science and student research, SPACES Degree College has inked a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the ICAR-Indian Institute of Rice Research (IIRR), Hyderabad. This premier partnership paves the way for pioneering studies in sustainable grain production, advanced crop genetics, and modern crop management techniques designed to support regional farming communities. As rice remains the primary crop driving food security in our region, this collaboration brings institutional academic work into alignment with elite national research frameworks. Through this alliance, students gain access to specialized field training, seed technology advancements, and research mentoring from senior scientists at IIRR. The partnership focuses heavily on studying climate-resilient crop varieties, optimizing resource use efficiency, and introducing eco-friendly crop protection models. This hands-on ecosystem gives our student body a competitive edge while preparing them to tackle global agricultural issues.
