On 28.02.2024, SPACES Degree College celebrated Science Day with great enthusiasm, hosting engaging activities to foster a love for science among students. 
Students participated in a lively Quiz, testing their knowledge and understanding of scientific concepts. A fascinating display of scientific projects and experiments captivated the audience, showcasing innovation and creativity.
Students from Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan, Payakaraopeta were warmly welcomed to the labs of SPACES Degree College. College students guided them through interactive demonstrations and experiments, igniting their curiosity and passion for science.
Winners of the Quiz competition and Science Exhibit were awarded prizes in recognition of their exemplary performance and dedication to scientific inquiry.
The Science Day celebrations at SPACES Degree College were a resounding success, inspiring students to explore the wonders of science and nurturing a spirit of inquiry and innovation. 
By welcoming young minds from Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan, the college community extended its commitment in promoting science education and fostering a love for learning.

A Seminar on Mental Health Awareness was conducted for undergraduate students of SPACES Degree College. The seminar, held on 19-03-2024  aimed to raise awareness and provide valuable insights into managing mental health and stress effectively.
The seminar featured presentations from mental health experts Dr K Pinky , Mr B Ramana from SUMEDA Foundation , interactive discussions, and Q&A sessions. The topics covered included:
1.Understanding Mental Health
2.Stress Management Techniques
3.Building Resilience
4.Seeking Help
5.Self-Care Practices
6.Supportive Community.

The seminar was well-received by the students, who actively participated in the discussions and engaged with the speakers.

 BY STATE BANK OF INDIA (SBI), PAYAKARAOPETA BRANCH
State Bank of India (SBI), a pioneer in the Indian banking sector, organized a seminar titled "SAFE & Secure BANKING" tailored specifically for undergraduate (UG) students.
The objective of the seminar was to raise awareness regarding safe and secure banking practices, educate about the potential risks associated with online transactions and digital banking & equip them with practical strategies and tips to ensure the safety and security of their financial transactions and personal information.

In collaboration with SPACES Degree college, Crystal Management Services conducted a Faculty Development Program to the faculty members of the college from 07-12-2023 to 14-12-2023. 
The FDP was conducted on Recent Trends of Pharmaceutical Industry and Production department for 22 faculty members. The one-week FDP was assessed on 23-02-2023. The faculty members took part in the program with great zeal and enthusiasm.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

On 25th January 2024, SPACES Degree College NSS Unit celebrated National Voter’s The day marked the importance of democracy and voting rights, aiming to educate and encourage citizens, especially the youth, to exercise their right to vote.
The elocution and essay writing competitions were conducted to the students. The NSS volunteers & students excelled in both the elocution and essay writing competitions. Volunteers also took part in the event conducted in the Municipal office Nakkapalli.Theu also took part in the rally conducted by officers and passerbys.
Winners of the competitions were given away prizes by Mr. Ambedkar, the Tahsildar, Nakkapalli.

On March 30, 2024, SPACES Degree College students from the first and second year of BBA and second year B.Com embarked on an enlightening industrial visit to two industries: Aparna Enterprises Limited and Pattabhi Agro Foods Pvt Ltd. in Peddapuram, Andhra Pradesh. Throughout the day, they were immersed in the vast machinery and operations of both companies, gaining firsthand insights into various facets of management, finance, administration, safety and welfare. Engaging with Mr.Madhusudan Sr.Manager - HR , Mr. Satyanarayana Deputy manager - HR of Aparna Enterprises & Mr K Gandhiw AGM - Pattabhi Agro foods Pvt Ltd., they delved into the intricacies of organizational management, financial strategies and safety protocols. This experiential learning opportunity provided invaluable real-world context to their academic studies, enhancing their understanding of business operations and management practices.

On 28th March 2024, SPACES Degree College students from BBA & B.Com embarked on an enriching industrial visit to the Sri Sarvaraya Sugars Limited in Kesavaram, Mandapeta Mandal. Witnessing the intricate processes first hand, they gained insights into Quality Control Measures, Managerial & Administrative Operations. Mr Y. Kalidas, the Personnel Officer, engaged the students, elucidating on administrative and managerial facets, while also facilitating discussions with the Welfare Officer. It was a valuable learning experience, offering a practical understanding of industrial dynamics.

On 28-03-2024 a Botanical tour was organized for B .Sc. Botany students of  students from SPACES Degree College to Sri Satyadeva Nurseries , Kadiapulanka. A  special session by Sri P Rajasekhar, manager of Sri Satyadeva Nurseries focusing on biodiversity conservation was conducted to raise awareness among the students about the importance of preserving native plant species and ecosystemsThe botanical tour to Sri Satyadeva Nurseries was a valuable learning experience for the students of SPACES Degree College. It provided them with practical insights into plant propagation, nursery management, and biodiversity conservation, complementing their theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom. The tour not only enhanced their understanding of botany but also inspired them to appreciate the beauty and importance of plants in our ecosystem.

On April 12, 2024, an on-campus placement drive took place at SPACES Degree College in collaboration with Datapro Technologies under the terms of their Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This event provided a platform for students pursuing B.Sc, BBA, and B.Com degrees to explore job opportunities. Five companies, spanning six sectors, participated in the drive, extending employment offers to 104 students. Notably, DShine Pro Solutions recruited 24 candidates for roles in manufacturing, production, and assembly operations, while also hiring 48 candidates for BPO voice processes and banking positions. 7 candidates as relationship executives at Randstad, 5 candidates as warehouse executives and branch incharges at Navata, 7 candidates as customer care executives at Apollo Pharmacy, and 13 candidates as internship trainees at Muthoot. This event showcased the diverse career prospects available to SPACES Degree College students across various industries.

An off-campus drive was conducted in collaboration with IMPAQT HR at SPACES Degree College on February 24, 2024. Mr. Venkatesh, Assistant Manager of Talent Acquisition at HDB & HDFC Bank, Mr. Madhavan Varma, Senior Recruiter for Executive Hiring at Axis Bank, and Mr. Pavan Kumar, HR Manager for Talent Acquisition in South India at ICICI Bank, conducted the drive. The drive was held for ICICI Bank Ltd for Relationship Manager positions, Axis Bank Ltd for Bank Officers/B.D.E, and HDFC Bank Ltd for Loan Officer positions. Group discussion and interviews were conducted to the applicants. A total of 240 applicants participated in the drive.

On 19.02.2024, a workshop on "Flexible Physics/Electronics in Medical Sensing" was conducted at SPACES Degree College for undergraduate students interested in exploring the interdisciplinary intersection of Physics, Electronics and healthcare. The workshop aimed to introduce students to the innovative field of Flexible Physics/Electronics and its applications in medical sensing, offering insights into the latest developments and potential impact on healthcare.
The workshop began with a keynote presentation by Prof. Salla Gangi Reddy, Department of Physics at SRM University, Andhra Pradesh. Dr Reddy is a distinguished researcher in Flexible Physics/Electronics and biomedical engineering. 
The workshop featured technical sessions covering various aspects of flexible Physics/Electronics and medical sensing, including:
1.Introduction to Flexible Physics/Electronics: Materials, Fabrication Techniques, and Properties.
2.Applications of Flexible Physics/Electronics in Medical Sensing: Wearable Sensors, Implantable Devices, and Biomedical Imaging.
3.Challenges and Opportunities in Flexible Physics/Electronics Integration with Biological Systems.

The workshop on "New Concepts in Microbiology" was conducted at SPACES DEGREE COLLEGE, Payakaraopeta for undergraduate students pursuing studies  Lifesciences (Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology) on 19.02.2024. The workshop aimed to introduce students to the latest advancements and emerging trends in the field of microbiology, offering them insights beyond the traditional curriculum.
The workshop commenced with a keynote address by Dr. Anil K Suresh, Associate Professor , Department of Biotechnology, SRM University, Andhra Pradesh. Dr. Suresh  provided an overview of the current landscape of microbiology, emphasizing the importance of  new concepts and technologies in research and industry.
The workshop featured interactive sessions facilitated by faculty members and invited experts. Topics covered included:
1.Applications in Microbiology
2.Microbiome Dynamics and Its Impact on Human Health
3.Emerging Infectious Diseases and Global Health Challenges
